Hollywood Fashion Commercial

One of the first commercials we produced, we certainly started with a bang. When hired to create a commercial for a fashion show, we knew we had to do it right. For this production we had to have a huge group of talent and a decent sized crew. In all there was a group of about 40 there for the production. This included models, extras, make-up artists, hairstylists, photographers, a dance team, caterers, and of course the video production crew.
On the technical side, we shot this commercial using Sony HD cameras. We were also able to use our 8ft kessler crane for a more professional looking finished product.

Green Screen Productions

Yet another service offered at W3 Design Studios is our green screen production capabilities. We have two options for this type of production.
- In Studio – Come visit us at “The Garage.” We have a dedicated green screen set ready for your use. We often use “The Garage” for larger productions; for most situations we can come to you!
- On Location - Need a simple waist up video, let us come to you. All we require is an office or small conference room. We are non-intrusive and will not disrupt your day to day business activities. We would however ask your staff to use their inside voices while shooting.

Ricky Rocks, Live in LA

One of our many services at W3 Design Studios is event coverage and promotional video production. Ricky Rocks was one of the many performers we were able to work with while located in Los Angeles. Infamous in the club scene, Ricky Rocks brings a new dynamic to the scene, combining live drumming, high energy, with a the existing DJ still spinning beats.

Wetsuit Wearhouse – Web Video

Over the past year, we have been working with one of the leading wetsuit re-sellers in the United States, Wetsuit Wearhouse. Surprisingly this company is based out of the small land-locked city of Hagerstown, MD.
We have been working with Dave and Chris(the owners) in creating videos to enhance their online presence. The production process for this project has been simple yet has yielded thousands of views on youtube, needless to say they have had a huge return on their investment, and it has been less than a year! These videos will only yield a higher return as time progress’s.
So you might wonder, what would it take to replicate this model for your own business. Well the answer may surprise you. For Wetsuit Wearhouse we were able to shoot 10+ videos in only 3 days time. Each day consisted of approximately 1 hour of our skilled crew setting up and prepping the location. For a simple shoot like this we used 3 lights (500watts each, perfect for any office location), a shotgun microphone on a boom pole, and one of our many HD cameras. Once set up, we grabbed our talent (Dave or Chris), and filmed for an average of about 4 hours, of course this depends on how well rehearsed the talent is. During this time the guys at Wetsuit Wearhouse were also able to review the footage immediately after shooting it, determining if they were satisfied or wanted to give it another try. Once complete, it takes our crew about 30mins to pack up and get out. And best of all the rough cut was available to the client in less than a week!
